Variety is the spice of life they say and, true enough, it applies to just about everything and anything! This includes electronic cigarette kits. Not only are there different models and brands to choose from, there’s also one other very important distinction that people can choose that can change their whole vaping experience: tank or non-tank.
By now, you’re probably aware of the different kits and their properties. you may have even noticed that a few of the different models have a “T” at the end of their name. This
designates them as a tank kit. So what makes a tank kit special versus a regular kit? Well, it’s all in how you use it!
Tank kits are exactly what thy imply: a kit that uses a tank for the eLiquid instead of dripping. You simply fill up a cartridge or “tank,” insert it into your atomizer and get to vaping. This eliminates the messy dripping process and makes it easy to switch flavors when you’re craving a different AmericaneLiquid™. Plus, tanks are quite a bit cheaper than cartomizers when you really match them up, dollar for dollar.
There are some downsides to using a tank kit though. They’re a bit harder to fill than a cartomizer because you either have to pry off the top of a cartridge to fill it or use a syringe to puncture and fill through a hole. You also get a better vape with a cartomizer opposed to the cartridge in a tank kit because vapor production is enhanced by the filler material in your eCig.
In the end, it’s more or less up to the vaper to choose what suits them best. Some people prefer the clean, easy to handle feeling of a cartridge for their eCig. Other people like to control their vapor and drip directly into the cartomizer. We recommend starting with a regular kit first, then exploring tank kits if you become more inclined to; many people just feel more comfortable dripping so you’ll save money in the long run by not investing directly into a tank kit.
