If you’re a vaper who used to be a full time smoker, then you might have noticed that you seem to vape more throughout the day. Why is this? Well, we’ve done a little bit of research and looked into why more vapers are vaping more often. When you read what we’ve come up with, it’ll make more sense as to why you can’t seem to put down your electronic cigarette!
First and foremost, the reason why people tend to vape more than they would smoke is due to the innumerable flavors that are available to someone with an electronic cigarette. For example, you can pick chocolate, mango, mint or even cherry cheesecake depending on your mood and what tastes you’re looking for. With traditional cigarettes, you’ve got your choice of menthol and tobacco… that’s it. Because the FDA has banned all flavors besides these two, it’s no wonder that people are vaping new flavors for often than not!
Another reason that contributes to an increased vape time has to do with the ability to control your own nicotine levels. Many people often choose to start out at our highest regular nicotine level: 24mg/mL. This is the equivalent of a basic cigarette in terms of nicotine consumption and a level that most people are familiar with. However, some choose to drop their nicotine level in order to help wean themselves off. Often times, it’s these people who tend to vape more in order to compensate for the lack of nicotine in their eLiquid. Eventually, this tapers off as the stepping process goes into full swing, though.
Finally, accessibility and ease are two of the biggest factors for vaping more often! Because you can vape inside and other places where cigarettes are not allowed, you’re more inclined to puff away on your eCig. Think of it this way, if there was a rule against eating ham sandwiches in a cafeteria, but you could eat turkey sandwitches anytime you wanted without having to go somewhere else, which sandwich would you more often than not choose to eat?
The next time you sit down to a good vape, think about how often you do it. Is it a lot? More than when you smoked cigarettes? Why do you think that is?
